What We Do

The Problem:

Southeast Asians are targeted and harmed by ICE detention and deportation.

Khmer, Vietnamese, Hmong, Lao, Karen, and other Southeast Asian communities are being mass deported to countries that they have never been to and separated from their families, communities, and livelihoods in the United States.

How We’re Tackling It:

Legal Support

We support community members facing threats of detention and deportation

1. Provide resources, support, and pro-bono legal consultation for impacted community members, such as through our legal kiosk program.

Community members facing orders for removal are offered legal counsel to fight for their release. We also offer support with filing legal paperwork and acquiring legal identification for returning community members.
